Job summary

Buzzi Unicem USA Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to manage electrical and mechanical projects in our cement manufacturing operations. You will administer projects in Oracle Project Accounting, develop cost and schedule plans, and guide execution from design through commissioning.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in the cement industry, strong interpersonal skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Project. Travel to partner facilities will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 5+ years of mechanical/electrical project engineering experience in cement or related industry.
• Familiarity with cement industry equipment and operations.
• Strong interpersonal skills and self-motivated.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; advanced AutoCAD and Microsoft Project skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for administration of projects in Oracle Project Accounting.
• Development of project cost and schedule.
• Administration of all aspects of project execution including, but not limited to: design, specification, contracts, purchasing, installation and commissioning.
• Control report to management schedule and cost.
• Electrical design and installation of all aspects of electrical power and control systems.
• Support plant operations by implementing critical improvement projects and coordinate with all departments within the plant.
• Works with Manager to manage all electrical construction.
