Job summary

Buzzi Unicem USA seeks an Electrical Project Engineer to plan and execute electrical design and installation across cement production sites. You will manage project cost and schedule, oversee design, contracts, purchasing, installation, and commissioning, and partner with plant operations to drive critical improvements.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with at least five years of mechanical/electrical project experience in cement or related industries, and travels to

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required.
  • Five or more years of experience in mechanical/electrical project engineering in the cement or related industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; self-starter and inquisitive by nature.
  • Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office; advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Project.
  • Willingness to travel, primarily to other Buzzi Unicem USA facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Administration of projects in Oracle Project Accounting.
  • Development of project cost and schedule.
  • Administration of all aspects of project execution including design, contracts, purchasing, installation and commissioning.
  • Control report to management schedule and cost.
  • Electrical design and installation of power and control systems.
  • Support plant operations by implementing critical improvement projects and coordinating with all departments.
  • Collaborate with Manager to oversee electrical construction.

Responsibilities

  • Support plant operations by implementing critical improvement projects and coordinate with all departments within the plant.
  • Works with Manager to manage all electrical construction.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
  • At least five (5) years of experience in mechanical/electrical project engineering in the cement or related industry
  • Familiarity with operational aspects and equipment utilized in the cement industry
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter and inquisitive by nature
  • Solid computer skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Project
  • Requires availability to travel, primarily to other Buzzi Unicem USA facilities
