Job summary

Buzzi Unicem USA is seeking a Project Engineer to oversee mechanical/electrical projects within our cement operations. You will manage project cost, schedule, and execution from design through commissioning, including Oracle Project Accounting and electrical systems design.

This role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, 5+ years in the cement or related industries, travel to other facilities, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required.
• At least five years of mechanical/electrical project engineering experience in the cement or related industry.
• Familiarity with operational aspects and equipment utilized in the cement industry.
• Strong interpersonal skills and self-starter attitude.
• Solid computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Project.
• Requires availability to travel, primarily to other Buzzi Unicem USA facilities.

Responsibilities

• Administration of projects in Oracle Project Accounting.
• Development of project cost and schedule.
• Administration of all aspects of project execution including, but not limited to: design, specification, contracts, purchasing, installation and commissioning.
• Control report to management schedule and cost.
• Electrical design and installation of all aspects of electrical power and control systems.
• Support plant operations by implementing critical improvement projects and coordinate with all departments within the plant.
• Works with Manager to manage all electrical construction.
