Cemex US in New Braunfels, TX is seeking a Production Utility Worker to support plant operations. You’ll operate equipment, manage raw materials, and help keep the plant clean and efficient across multiple production areas.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, MSHA certification, plus experience with cement plant operations or heavy equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude, math skills, and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• MSHA certification or ability to obtain.
• Experience in cement plant or heavy equipment operation preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate multiple machines.
• Basic math, reading, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read tape measures and use hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate wheel loaders, dump trucks, water trucks, forklifts, Bobcats, and sweepers.
• Load, transport, and stack raw materials using reclaimers and loaders.
• Train as a Production Assistant and assist with unloading and raw material prep.
• Maintain plant cleanliness with hand tools and assist in equipment cleaning.
• Follow safety rules, use PPE, and exceed company safety expectations.
• Complete any additional tasks assigned by supervisors.
