Job summary

Cemex US is seeking a Utility Operator to operate multiple pieces of equipment at the Davenport, FL facility. The role interfaces with the operations team daily and requires accurate, timely work to support production and ensure smooth plant performance.

Responsibilities include loading trucks, maintaining equipment, and performing light maintenance while following safety rules and OSHA guidelines. High school diploma and English proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school preferred.
• Bilingual a plus.
• Be able to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Operate a loader, excavator, haul truck, grader, bulldozer, skid steer, and water truck.
• Load tractor trailers and dump trucks.
• Keep facility clean and organized.
• Build and strip forms; mix and pour concrete and castables.
• Perform minor maintenance and repairs; assist in clean-up before/after maintenance.
• Communicate with truckers and customers; record downtime and actions taken.
• Refuel and clean the loader; adhere to safety rules and wear PPE.
