Job summary

Buzzi Unicem USA is seeking a Plant Supervisor to lead the shift production crew and ensure safe, efficient operation of kilns, mills and auxiliary equipment in a cement manufacturing environment.

The role requires 2 years of supervisory experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work rotating shifts to support 24/7 operations. Union environments and control room or lab experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years supervisory experience.
• 5 years experience in heavy industrial manufacturing environment.
• Experience supervising in a union environment preferred.
• Control room or lab experience preferred.
• Ability to work rotating shifts to support 24/7 plant operations.
• Experience in cement, lime or aggregate industry preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).

Responsibilities

• Supervise shift production crew to ensure kilns, mills and equipment run safely and efficiently.
• Follow company SOPs for plant operations.
• Ensure employees and contractors work safely in line with MSHA standards.
• Operate plant to avoid equipment damage and downtime.
• Run plant in compliance with environmental regulations and company standards.
• Maximize equipment operating time and throughput per company policies.
