Buzzi Unicem USA is seeking a seasoned Plant Manager to direct all manufacturing functions across production, engineering, mining, maintenance and administration. You will lead capital projects, develop a skilled workforce, and ensure safe, cost-efficient operations aligned with customer needs.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in a technical or business field with 10+ years of management experience in manufacturing and a proven ability to drive continuous improvement in a complex plant environment.

Qualifications

• BS in related technical field or business field is required.
• 10+ years of management experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong leadership under pressure and change management.
• Proven ability to balance plant-wide production and maintenance needs.

Responsibilities

• Direct all manufacturing functions including production, engineering, mining, maintenance and admin.
• Plan capital improvements and projects to improve efficiency.
• Establish effective employee relations to maintain a skilled workforce.
• Maintain a safe working environment with focus on MSHA requirements.
• Develop subordinates and oversee training, supervision, and scheduling.
• Interface with sales, marketing and customer service to meet customer needs.
• Maintain production rates to optimize equipment and labor costs.
• Oversee long-term planning and execution of goals.
• Participate in special projects as assigned.
