Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Production Supervisor at the Sparrows Point Cement Plant, MD to oversee daily operations, run automated systems, and coordinate maintenance and safety. You will lead a team and drive quality to meet KPIs while maintaining a safe workplace.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in heavy industry with supervisory experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Excel, SAP, and Maximo. A 12-hour shift schedule is typical, with travel within the area.

Qualifications

• Associates/College Degree is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in technical field is preferred or related experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are expected.
• Experience in a cement plant or heavy industry is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform start-up, normal operation, and shutdown of the referenced systems.
• Perform equipment inspection and preventive maintenance.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure mill operation meets specs and inventory levels.
• Operate mobile equipment and assist with housekeeping tasks.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Distribution, and QA to meet plant KPIs.
• Follow safety policies and ensure PPE compliance.
