Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Production Supervisor at the Sparrows Point Cement Plant in MD to oversee daily operations, control the automated system, run heavy equipment, and ensure safety and production targets.

The role requires at least 5 years of supervision in cement or heavy industry, strong communication, and proficiency with SAP/Maximo. Travel is limited to the immediate area; 12-hour rotating shifts apply.

Qualifications

• Education: Associates/College Degree; Additional Education Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in technical field or related experience.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in related field with progression; 5+ years in supervisory role; heavy industry experience preferred.
• Computer skills: Solid proficiency in Excel/Word and industrial software (SAP, Maximo).

Responsibilities

• Start-up, normal operation, and shutdown of plant systems.
• Inspect equipment; perform maintenance; housekeeping and tasks supporting production.
• Quality checks to meet specifications; manage inventory levels.
• Operate mobile equipment; feed dryers and mills; run forklift and sweepers.
