Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Production Supervisor for the Sparrows Point Cement Plant in Maryland to oversee daily operations, monitor automated systems, run heavy equipment, and ensure safe, efficient production.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of supervisory experience in cement or heavy industry, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Excel, SAP, and Maximo. This role involves 12-hour rotating shifts and offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associates/College Degree required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field preferred.
• 5+ years related experience with progression into a supervisory role.
• Experience in a cement plant or heavy industry preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Start-up, operation, and shutdown of plant systems.
• Inspect equipment and perform preventive maintenance.
• Execute quality checks and manage inventory levels.
• Operate forklifts and heavy equipment for housekeeping and production tasks.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Distribution, Quality, and Process teams to meet KPIs.
• Follow safety policies and PPE protocols.
