Job summary

Ash Grove Cement, a CRH company, is hiring a Process Attendant to monitor plant activities and assist in running process equipment. The role involves 12-hour rotating shifts, safety compliance and direct support to the Production Supervisor and Control Room Operator.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–3 years of related experience, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather with physical tasks and equipment operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 1–3 years of related work experience.
• Ability to read, write and understand warning labels and instructions.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including walking, climbing and working in confined spaces.
• Mechanical, welding and machinist skills preferred.
• Must be able to operate equipment such as front-end loaders, skid steers and forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor field activities and operating equipment to ensure continuous material flows.
• Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions.
• Assist production employees by directing, coaching, supporting and delegating as needed.
• Monitor process equipment and lubricants; report issues and maintain material flow.
• Maintain quality within specifications and ensure environmental compliance.
• Oversee start/stop of process equipment with supervisor and control room operator.
