Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Plant Manager-level leader to drive safe, reliable and efficient cement manufacturing operations. You will lead and develop supervisors, align priorities across maintenance, quality, engineering and operations, and manage plant performance with data-driven decisions.

The role requires broad knowledge of cement manufacturing, strong leadership, and the ability to respond to disruptions while maintaining safety and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading leaders and cross-functional teams with safety focus.
• Understanding of cement manufacturing or heavy-process operations.
• Ability to interpret plant operating data and translate trends into actions.
• Financial acumen to evaluate operating costs, budgets and investments.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant safety, reliability, and efficiency across departments.
• Drive plant performance using KPIs like kiln availability and production.
• Develop supervisors and leaders, set clear expectations and accountability.
• Coordinate production and maintenance priorities, including shutdowns.
• Support operating and capital planning with data-driven insights.
• Step in for Plant Manager during issues and off-hours.
