Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a Plant Manager to lead a large cement manufacturing operation in a heavy-industrial environment. You will partner with the Plant Manager to drive safety, reliability, and efficiency across departments, setting clear priorities and building leadership capabilities.

You will steer continuous improvement, analyze plant data, and manage production, maintenance, and capital planning to deliver cost-effective performance and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Technical education in engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent capability developed through cement manufacturing experience.
• Proven ability to lead leaders and cross-functional teams with a safety-focused culture.
• Strong understanding of cement manufacturing or heavy-process operations and related data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, reliable, and efficient cement manufacturing operations with cross-department coordination.
• Drive plant performance using KPI measures (kiln availability, clinker/cement production, energy use, OEE).
• Develop supervisors and leaders; set expectations and accountability.
