Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Holly Hill Cement Plant in South Carolina. You will perform inspection, root cause analysis, and repairs of mechanical systems, with emphasis on preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of plant equipment.

The role requires 2–4 years of industrial millwright experience, high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license; two years of technical college is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED required.
• Two years technical college preferred.
• 2-4 years industrial experience as a millwright required.
• Experience rebuilding gear boxes, shaft alignment on heavy industrial equipment, bearing installation desired.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Adheres to safety protocols and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintains mechanical systems throughout the plant.
• Performs preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment.
• Works with contractor personnel and ensures quality control and productivity.
• Participates in training programs and cross training activities.
• Interacts with Process Areas to communicate information and solve problems.
• Supports other plant functions as assigned.
