Job summary

Austin Bridge & Road is seeking a Cement Truck, Mixer Driver in Mesquite, TX. This full‑time hourly position requires operating cement mixer trucks, performing daily inspections, and maintaining a strong safety focus on construction sites.

Responsibilities include safe operation, teamwork, daily safety meetings, and flexibility to work varied shifts including nights and weekends. DOT drug screen, background check, and state driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Must pass DOT pre‑employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• At least 12 months relevant driving experience in construction.
• Strong commitment to jobsite safety.
• Operational knowledge of trucks and related equipment (end dump, belly dump, tandem, flow boy or super dump).

Responsibilities

• Perform daily equipment maintenance and inspections.
• Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Attend daily safety meetings.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Work hours include days, nights and weekends and may vary by project needs.
• Maintain compliance with DOT rules and company standards.
