Job summary

The University of Vermont seeks a talented professional to implement and coordinate CELO’s programs that support community-engaged learning, including course designation and community partner tracking. You will help track reporting, engage in outreach, and facilitate storytelling across multiple channels.

Responsibilities include supporting implementation of community-engaged courses through risk management education, student workshops, and grants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field and 3–5 years of experience in higher education, community-engaged learning/service-learning, civic engagement, and/or community development.
• Communications experience (web, storytelling, newsletters).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Teams.

Facilitate CELO’s storytelling and reporting to multiple audiences through web, newsletter, and other channels. Support signature events, such as CELO’s annual awards and showcase. Engage in outreach to support student and community partner engagement.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field and three to five years of experience in higher education, community-engaged learning/service-learning, civic engagement, and/or community development. Communications experience (web, storytelling, newsletters). Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Teams.

Anticipated Pay Range $45,000 to $53,173 (9 mo term).
