Job summary
HCA HealthONE Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center in Denver is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist for Cellular Therapeutics to perform therapeutic apheresis, cell collection/harvest, and processing in compliance with regulatory standards.
You will work with adolescents, adults and geriatrics, accessing central lines and monitoring vital signs within the CT team. The role requires BLS, an MT/MLS certification, and a degree in Medical Technology or related field; experience in phlebotomy
Qualifications
- BLS required.
- Bachelor's in Medical Technology or related field preferred.
- Experience in phlebotomy, therapeutic apheresis, stem cell collection, bone marrow harvest, or cell processing/cryopreservation is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Perform therapeutic apheresis and cellular collection/harvest for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
- Process cells in compliance with Joint Commission, FDA and FACT standards.
- Access central lines and monitor vital signs as part of patient care.
- Collaborate with CT Manager and CT team to ensure quality patient care.
