Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology/Science or Biology is required.
• 1 year Blood Bank and/or Hematology experience preferred; 1 year Chemistry or Life Science required.
• BLS certification required; AMT/CLS credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process cellular therapy products and patient samples following SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Perform laboratory procedures with high accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
• Operate and troubleshoot laboratory analyzers and equipment used in product processing and testing.
• Conduct QC, instrument verifications, maintenance and routine performance checks.
• Document all processing activities, test results, maintenance and QC per GDP.
• Maintain chain of identity and chain of custody for cellular therapy products and related samples.
• Identify supply needs and communicate inventory concerns to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Adhere to safety procedures, infection control practices and hazardous material handling.
• Participate in competency assessments and continuing education.

Education

Bachelor's Degree Medical Technology/Science or Biology

1 year Blood Bank - Preferred

1 year Hematology - Preferred

1 year Chemistry or Life Science - Required

Medical Technology/Science - Preferred

1 year Blood Bank - Preferred

Medical Technologist (MT) - AMT - Preferred

Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) - Preferred

Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - Required
