New York Blood Center in New York is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform processing, cryopreservation, and testing of hematopoietic progenitor cell products and parathyroid tissue for hospital clients.

You will receive and accession samples, prepare shipments, maintain records under GMP/GLP and comply with FDA/NYSDOH, AABB and FACT standards while working in a fast-paced cellular therapy lab.

Formación

• Bachelor degree in Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry or Physical Science.
• 0–2 years in Cellular Therapy, clinical or research lab.
• GMP/GLP knowledge and sterile technique.
• Familiarity with FDA and NYSDOH regulations, AABB/FACT standards.
• Proficiency with computerized systems and MS Office.

Responsabilidades

• Process HPC, apheresis, marrow and parathyroid tissue per SOPs.
• Perform cell calculations, dilutions, and cryopreservation steps.
• Receive, accession, label, and ship products to clinical labs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and inventory according to regulations.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA donor/sample security.
• Perform QC on equipment and freezers per SOPs.
