Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking a Technology Specialist (Cellular) to support the Intellectual Property practice in our Minneapolis, MN office. The role focuses on drafting patent applications, communicating with the patent office, and advising litigation teams on technical matters.

The ideal candidate has a technical background in CS/EE, telecom standards experience, and USPTO registration, with strong writing skills and proven patent prosecution experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar.
• Experience in Telecommunications and Cellular Communications standards.
• 2+ years of patent prosecution experience preferred.
• Superior writing skills and excellent academic credentials.
• Registered before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office.

Responsibilities

• Draft patent applications, including descriptions and figures.
• Correspond with the patent office regarding pending applications.
• Advise patent litigation teams based on technical expertise.
• Interview inventors about new ideas.
