The role involves drafting patent applications, communicating with the patent office, advising litigation teams, and interviewing inventors. A strong technical background and excellent writing are required, with USPTO registration preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar field.
• Experience in Telecommunications and Cellular Communications standards.
• 2+ years of patent prosecution experience preferred.
• Superior writing skills and excellent academic credentials.
• Registered before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office.

Responsibilities

• Draft patent applications, including descriptions and figures.
• Correspond with the patent office regarding pending applications.
• Advise litigation teams based on technical expertise.
• Interview inventors about new ideas.
