Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Biology, or related field from an accredited institution (degree must be conferred by the start date).
• At least one year of postdoctoral research experience as a postdoctoral researcher, faculty member at another institution, or in industry.
• Demonstrated potential to establish an active research program involving undergraduate and/or master’s students.
• Evidence of, or potential for, securing research funding.
• Prior teaching experience at the college or university level with inclusive teaching practices.

Responsibilities

• Teaching responsibilities may include foundations of biology and upper-division or graduate courses within the candidate’s specialty.
• Contribute to curriculum development in neuroscience and related areas.
• Advise undergraduate and graduate research students.
• Participate in department, college, and university service.
• Engage in ongoing professional and scholarly activities.
• Display a commitment to student success and inclusion.
