Qualifications

• PhD in cognitive neuroscience or related field by 12 Aug 2027.
• Evidence of scholarly achievement in candidate’s area of specialization.
• Experience with neuroscientific methods that can be done at Cal Poly and a research plan including those methods.
• Commitment to broadening psychology to include underrepresented groups.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses such as Biopsychology, Cognition, Memory, Cognitive Neuroscience, Behavioral Effects of Psychoactive Drugs, Memory, Sensation and Perception, and Research Methods.
• Maintain an active program of research and involvement in service activities.
• Contribute to department and university teaching and research goals.
