Amaterra Winery is seeking a hands-on Cellar Hand to support all stages of winemaking, from grape processing to bottling. The role emphasizes cleanliness, safety, and precise record-keeping in a production environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with harvest activities, cellar operations, and routine sanitation, while following quality control procedures and collaborating with the winemaking team to ensure product integrity.

Qualificações

• Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit.
• Ability to stand, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in damp cellar environments.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with grape receiving, sorting, crushing, pressing, and harvest activities.
• Perform cellar operations: tank/barrel filling, racking, wine transfers, and blending prep.
• Clean and sanitize tanks, barrels, hoses, pumps, and production areas.
• Monitor fermentation and assist with wine sampling and additions under supervision.
• Maintain accurate records of cellar activities and wine movements.
