Job summary

Testarossa Winery is seeking a hands-on Cellar & Production Assistant to support day-to-day winery operations across cellar work, bottling, warehouse, and shipping. This role offers variety and a chance to learn different aspects of winery production while upholding safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates are 18+, dependable, eager to learn, and capable of working overtime during harvest. Forklift certification will be required upon hire.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• No winery experience required; winery, cellar, warehouse, or production experience is a plus.
• Forklift certification upon hire.
• Dependable, motivated and eager to learn.
• Ability to follow instructions and take initiative.
• Strong teamwork and a positive, flexible attitude.
• Ability to manage time and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cellar activities, including barrel washing, cleaning, and maintaining an orderly cellar.
• Assist with bottling line setup, operation, and cleanup.
• Help maintain an organized warehouse and move wine, supplies, and materials as needed.
• Assist with shipping operations such as Wine Club orders and holiday shipments.
• Track, organize, and replenish production supplies and perform routine sanitation tasks.
• Support other departments as needed and supervise part-time staff when requested.
