Job summary

Moffitt is hiring a Cell Therapy Technologist I to perform cellular product processing and run qualitative/quantitative assays under minimal supervision. You will work with aseptic techniques in a clean room and document every step per SOPs and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate holds a biology-related bachelor’s degree and 1+ year in cell therapy, with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a high-stakes clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or other Biological Science.
• One or more years of cell therapy or related experience.
• Demonstrated competency in diverse biological processes.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently to achieve expected outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform cellular product processing using multiple processing, cell culture, and separation techniques with minimal supervision.
• Complete qualitative and quantitative assays including flow cytometry, qPCR and ELISA.
• Comply with SOPs and regulatory standards (cGMP/cGTP, FACT, CAP, AABB).
• Identify problems affecting product testing performance and follow standard procedures.
• Handle fresh and frozen cellular products for shipment and infusion; maintain aseptic technique in a clean room environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
