Job summary

Mykelly in Frederick, MD seeks a Cell Therapy Research Scientist or Senior Research Scientist to advance next-generation cell-based therapies for autoimmune diseases. This hands-on role focuses on preclinical evaluation of ex vivo and in vivo candidates, with emphasis on experimental design, data analysis, and collaboration across Discovery teams.

The position offers a full-time onsite schedule, with a competitive salary in the $100,000-$130,000/year range, and opportunities to contribute to LNP

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Cell Biology or related field.
• At least 3 years of hands-on preclinical cell therapy experience.
• Experience with aseptic cell culture, primary cell handling, flow cytometry, ELISA.
• Ability to design and analyze in vitro and in vivo preclinical studies.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and analyze preclinical in vitro and in vivo studies for cell therapy programs.
• Perform aseptic cell culture, primary cell isolation, flow cytometry, and plate-based assays.
• Establish in vivo models and perform IVIS imaging as needed.
• Support mRNA-based therapeutics development and related formulation work.
• Maintain accurate records and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
