Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
• RN license in Tennessee with ability to obtain licensing in surrounding states if needed.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing and 1 year supervisory experience; 1 year apheresis experience required; Optia experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing staffing and department collection activities to meet annual product collection goals.
• Writing and maintaining departmental policies and procedures.
• Assisting in preparing requests for capital expenditure and departmental budgets.
• Participating in management and operational projects.
• Evaluate client requests and determine feasibility of proposed collections.
• Oversee scheduling, mentoring, and development of nursing/service teams to support patient and donor care.
• Coordinate with vendors, sponsors, regulatory agencies, and other research teams regarding collection of cellular therapy and research products.
