Legend Biotech, Inc. in Raritan, NJ, is seeking an Operations Support Specialist to join the Manufacturing & Supply team. You will support CAR-T production in a sterile cGMP environment, performing unit operations on a shift schedule.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, 0–1 years of cGMP biotech experience, strong teamwork, and the ability to lift 50 lbs and work evenings/weekends. This is a permanent full-time position with benefits and E-Verify compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 0–1 years of operations experience within a cGMP biotech/biopharma environment.
• Ability to build strong partnerships in a matrixed environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Clear verbal and written communication with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of cGMP regulations and FDA guidance for cell-based products.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Ability to accommodate shift work including evenings and weekends.
• Handling human-derived materials in a BSL-2 cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform process unit operations (cell culture, purification, aseptic processing, cryopreservation) per SOPs and batch records.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality in a cross-functional team.
• Support development of manufacturing processes and drive continuous improvements.
• Handle biological materials and hazardous chemicals in a regulated environment.
