Job summary

Gilead Sciences, Inc. seeks an Clinical Logistics Associate to manage end-to-end cell therapy logistics for pivotal trials, coordinating enrolment readiness, apheresis scheduling, manufacturing tracking, and final IP delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in clinical logistics, clinical operations, or clinical supply chain within the biopharmaceutical industry.
• 3+ years with a high school diploma
• 0+ years with a bachelor's degree
• Basic understanding of end-to-end clinical trial operations, including patient-specific logistics, global trial execution, and their impact on systems and operations.
• Any experience with cold-chain logistics or temperature-controlled biologics
• Any experience with ERP systems (EBS, SAP, etc.)
• Any experience with clinical trial tools and systems (CTMS, EDC, eTMF, IRT, IXRS, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of GCP, GMP, GxP, ICH, IATA principles and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates end-to-end clinical cell therapy logistics for trials, ensuring enrollment readiness and product traceability.
• Manages trial site information and configuration in digital systems and coordinates with CROs for site initiation.
• Executes dry runs and oversees in-person travel when needed for site readiness.
• Tracks shipments, customs, and manufacturing status; communicates delivery and potential delays to SMT.
• Manages cell orders, bookings, and coordination with ERP systems for manufacturing.
• Supports supply orders for apheresis shipper kits and LN2 dewars to enable shipments.
