AstraZeneca is seeking a Senior Specialist, Cell Therapy Vein-to-Vein Coordinator to manage end-to-end patient and product journeys. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
• 5+ years in biopharma logistics, cell therapy operations, or time-critical shipment handling.
• Knowledge of GDP, GxP, and GMP, with emphasis on documentation and deviation awareness.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple active cases across time zones.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day Vein-to-Vein coordination across patient and order journeys, including scheduling, collection, courier transport, manufacturing, release, and delivery.
• Coordinate slot scheduling and booking activities per approved rules and study requirements; confirm, adjust, and reschedule as needed.
• Maintain visibility of active cases and ensure milestones, dependencies, and handoffs are actively managed.
• Monitor product journey milestones in real time using orchestration systems and tracking tools.
• Identify and respond to delays, temperature excursions, and disruptions; escalate per playbooks.
• Coordinate with couriers, logistics partners, and internal teams to support recovery actions and continuity of care.
• Maintain traceability of V2V and COI/COC with proper documentation and labeling.
• Ensure timely data entry in scheduling platforms and partner portals for real-time visibility.
• Provide proactive updates to internal stakeholders and patient operations teams.
• Support investigations, deviations, and corrective actions with accurate data collection.
• Follow SOPs and playbooks while identifying ambiguities and improvement opportunities.
