Job summary

Gotion Inc. is seeking a Cell Production Planning Supervisor in Manteno, IL to lead the planning team that develops and maintains cell production schedules aligned with sales forecasts and capacity constraints.

You will collaborate with Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Production teams to ensure material readiness, capacity utilization, and timely delivery to downstream packaging. Strong leadership and battery manufacturing knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of production planning, manufacturing operations, or supply chain experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Experience in lithium-ion battery cell manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems; SAP or similar systems preferred.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills; BOM, MRP, inventory management knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop daily, weekly, monthly, and long-term cell production plans.
• Coordinate with downstream Pack production to ensure alignment.
• Monitor production performance, capacity, and inventory targets.
• Lead cross-functional planning meetings and drive improvements.
• Manage and develop the Cell production planning team.
• Ensure material readiness and on-time supply to meet customer delivery schedules.
