Job summary

Regal Rexnord Corp in Columbia City, Indiana, is seeking Production Associates to set up and operate cell manufacturing and test equipment to produce final products. You will inspect parts, perform standard work, and record production data while following process documents.

The role requires versatility across molding, machine operation, assembly, painting, inspection, and related duties, with training provided.

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine material requirements and/or assembly instructions.
• Selects, aligns, and secures tooling, accessories, and materials on machines, such as hydraulic presses, burnish/test machines, assembly fixtures, air or electric power tools and magnetizers.
• Enters appropriate settings and adjusts and calibrates equipment as needed for the assigned production order.
• Records production and operational data on specified forms or within specified data-tracking systems.
• Performs quality checks on products and parts; verifies dimensions and alignment using measuring instruments.
• Rotates through all the tasks required in a particular production process.
• Works at a variety of workstations and areas with other associates to meet customer needs.
• Explains assembly procedures or techniques to other associates.
• Maintains an orderly, safe, and clean workplace.
• Participates in cell meetings and events.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
