Ducommun Incorporated in Carson, CA is seeking a Production Lead to drive a safe, high‑quality, and on‑time manufacturing environment. You will lead a cell, assign daily tasks, and guide improvements with a focus on 6S and strong workmanship.

As a production lead you will mentor staff, coordinate with engineering, track performance, and ensure timely completion of production goals. Overtime may be required to meet objectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum leadership experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Basic word processing and spreadsheet skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.

Responsabilités

• Maintain production flow and inform Operations Manager of issues.
• Identify production delays and assign personnel to meet goals.
• Assign daily tasks and priorities to department employees.
• Resolve quality, material and work instruction issues.
• Lead 6S efforts and model safe, organized work habits.
• Provide training and guidance to staff as needed.
• Work with engineering to resolve process issues.
• Track performance and provide feedback for evaluations.
• Oversee timekeeping and attendance; overtime as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
