Job summary

KUHN Group is seeking a Manufacturing Cell Manager to supervise the assigned manufacturing cell and ensure on-time delivery, quality, and cost targets. You will lead a team across shifts and drive lean improvements while coordinating with other departments to meet company goals.

Responsibilities include staffing, training, process improvements, and maintaining accurate records. A related degree and a minimum of three years in production supervision are required.

Qualifications

• A minimum of three years of production supervision is required.
• Related associate’s or bachelor’s degree is required.
• Lean Enterprise techniques knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the assigned manufacturing cell and direct all shifts.
• Interview, hire, train, plan, assign and evaluate staff.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Lead department and process-improvement teams in lean initiatives.
• Investigate production delays and expedite corrective action.
• Recommend staffing levels for the department.
• Administer company policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Delegate tasks responsibly within the department.
• Promote safe work practices and safety initiatives.
• Provide/oversee technical training for cell personnel.
• Provide timely responses to quality, production, and personnel issues.
• Develop and maintain performance measures.
