Job summary

Precision Edge Surgical Products Company LLC is seeking a Cell Leader for our medical device manufacturing floor. You will oversee a production cell with manual assembly, laser and TIG welding, and CNC machining, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient daily output.

You’ll lead teams across welding and machining, drive production metrics, and coordinate workflow to meet schedules while upholding quality and cost objectives. Relevant experience and leadership are required.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in medical device or regulated manufacturing.
• Experience leading or coordinating production teams (Cell Leader/Lead/Supervisor).
• Hands-on with manual and automated/semi-automated processes.
• Knowledge of laser beam welding, TIG welding, and CNC machining (Haas preferred).
• Strong understanding of quality systems and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations to meet production schedules and safety standards.
• Support teams across manual assembly, welding, and machining operations.
• Coordinate workflow, staffing, and priorities to meet delivery commitments.
• Serve as technical resource for laser welding, TIG welding, and CNC machining.
• Monitor and drive metrics: safety, quality, delivery, productivity.
• Troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions with Eng/Quality/Maintenance.
• Ensure ISO 13485 compliance and internal quality system adherence.
• Support Lean/Kaizen/5S and standard work initiatives.
• Maintain training records and process controls documentation.
• Foster accountability and continuous improvement culture.
