Job summary

RTX's Asheville, NC site seeks an experienced Quality Engineer to lead process quality initiatives in a greenfield Advanced Casting Foundry (ACF). You will develop controls, perform analyses, and drive improvements across the product value stream while collaborating with Manufacturing Engineering and Operations.

The role requires a strong quality background and ability to influence cross-functional teams on-site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience or an advanced degree with 3 years.
• Experience in Manufacturing with a Quality and/or Process focus.
• US Citizenship required due to government contract.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Control plans meet customer requirements across department and value stream.
• Develop quality controls, conduct inspections, and perform root cause analysis.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to minimize defects and prevent customer escapes.
• Lead activities to support FAA & AS9100 scope expansion and maintain compliance.
• Provide effective communication to align quality initiatives within the organization.
