Job summary

Vertex Pharmaceuticals seeks a Principal Business Analyst for Cell & Gene Therapy Commercial Technology to translate business needs into functional requirements and drive AI/automation initiatives across commercial platforms.

You will partner with Commercial, Cell & Gene Therapy, and Technology teams to ensure compliant, scalable data and analytics solutions supporting patient journey and order management, with hybrid work options.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field is required.
Significant experience in business analysis, product delivery, or process improvement.
Experience supporting commercial business functions and technology platforms in life sciences.

Responsibilities

Lead requirements gathering, business process analysis, and solution design for complex commercial technology initiatives.
Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, and process maps.
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, data teams, and vendors to ensure alignment with objectives and standards.
Drive readiness activities including testing support, training coordination, and change management.
