Job summary

Eurofins PSS in Berkeley, CA is seeking a Research Associate to support late-stage cell therapy analytics, assay development, and validation. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Cell Biology, 4+ years of related experience, and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cell Biology or related field.
• 4+ years of relevant industry experience; analytical development or GMP assay validation preferred.
• Experience supporting late-stage development or regulated laboratories is preferred.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Commutable distance to Berkeley, CA is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Supports late-stage cell therapy products through analytical assay development and validation.
• Plans, executes, optimizes assay development activities and qualification studies.
• Performs experiments, analyzes data, troubleshoots issues, and reports results.
• Prepares scientific data for reports, discussions, and reviews.
• Provides status updates on activities, risks, and timelines to teams.
• Supports preparation and review of assay-related protocols and reports.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to support analytical strategy.
• Contributes to laboratory operations, ordering, equipment maintenance, and compliance.
