Job summary

Eurofins USA Discovery Services is seeking an Associate Scientist II to conduct cell-based and analytical assays in a GLP/cGMP laboratory. The role involves maintaining cell culture in a BSL2 environment, data generation and analysis across multiple assay platforms, and supporting R&D projects with minimal supervision.

The candidate will manage inventories, adhere to SOPs, and participate in cross-functional teams to meet project timelines and quality objectives.

Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. in a relevant field with 2+ years of relevant experience or M.A./M.S. with 1+ year of relevant experience.
• Experience with in vitro enzymatic assays, HPLC, GC-MS with Mass Spectrometry, ELISA.
• Experience with High Content Imaging, Electrophysiology or Flow Cytometry assays.
• Experience in a contract research organization, GLP or cGMP laboratory, method development and optimization.
• Automation, robotics or HTS applications experience.
• Proven ability to lead and deliver results in an R&D lab setting.
• Strong documentation practices and data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Performs laboratory work and maintains required health and safety standards.
• Manages buffers, reagents, media, and finished goods inventory.
• Maintains cell culture in a BSL2 laboratory per protocols.
• Generates data from ADME Toxicology, Ion Channel, Translational Biology, and other assays.
• Supports mid-size lab research projects with minimal supervision.
• Maintains instrument care and department assets.
• Completes required training and compliance with quality management.
