Job summary

GRAEF invites applications for an FDOT CEI Inspector to support a range of transportation projects across NW Florida and the Florida Panhandle. The role allows residing anywhere in the Florida Panhandle and reporting remotely to the Orlando office.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of inspection experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and CTQP qualifications; additional certifications can be pursued within 6 months. This position offers growth and strong team support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction inspection on bridge/roadway projects.
• Able to work in the NW Florida region and travel as needed.
• CTQP qualifications preferred; additional certifications within 6 months encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Perform work on NW Florida projects under supervision of CEI Construction Engineer/Project Administrator.
• Conduct construction layout, engineering computations, inspections, and field tests.
• Support certification and qualification development for CTQP and other jurisdictions.
