Jacobs seeks an experienced CEI Inspector to join our Houston team. You will work with Resident Engineers, Construction Managers, and project teams to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with contract requirements and client expectations on critical infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate has a technical/engineering background and experience with public-sector clients and utility owners, with on-site field experience and a focus on quality control and material testing.

Competenze

• Experience working with public-sector clients and utility owners.
• Technical school graduate or degree related to Engineering or Construction Management.

Mansioni

• Determine acceptability of day-to-day construction work performed by the contractor.
• Review and recommend acceptance or rejection of daily contractor reports.
• Inspect contractor's quality control procedures.
• Perform material testing and verify conformance with the Quality Control Plan.
• Review material testing procedures and results for conformance with contract requirements.
• May sample or perform in-place testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, pipe bedding, backfill materials for water, wastewater, and pipeline projects.
