Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a CSA Quality Manager in Corpus Christi, TX to lead field QA/QC on industrial and commercial facilities, guiding subcontractors and the construction management team to ensure quality plans and ITPs are in place.

You will mentor teams, perform on-site quality audits, manage NCRs and Test Packs, and support turnover packages while collaborating with multidisciplinary professionals in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in industrial construction with QA/QC
• Effective oral and written communication
• Ability to read and understand engineering specifications, documents, and drawings
• Proficiency in Office 365 platforms such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices
• Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams
• Life Sciences/Pharma construction experience
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management
• Certified technical training is preferred

Responsibilities

• Communicating field quality issues to appropriate stakeholders
• Leading contractor quality audits on-site and in fabrication facilities
• Leading the effort to ensure ITPs and test forms are understood and completed
• Assisting in developing Construction Turn Over Package requirements
• Providing on-site assistance, monitoring and inspecting material at receipt and before installation
• Ensuring NCRs are captured and corrective actions implemented
