Job summary

Civil and Environmental Consultants is seeking a CEI Inspector in Franklin, TN, to support transportation and municipal infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will perform inspections, document project materials, and support the team with a strong focus on collaboration. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and various TDOT Technician Certifications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a CEI-related field, or equivalent education.
• TDOT Technician Certifications preferred or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• OSHA 10-Hour Construction training preferred or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction inspections on state and municipal infrastructure projects.
• Document material certifications, quantities, and inspection observations.
• Prepare and organize required inspection and project documentation.
• Maintain accurate project records in accordance with TDOT standards.
