Job summary

The Cearnal Collective is seeking a Project Architect to join our Santa Barbara office. You will lead design development, coordinate with clients, and mentor a young team while delivering comprehensive project documents in a collaborative, studio setting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture is required.
  • 8+ years of experience in architecture is required.
  • Licensure is preferred but not required.
  • Revit modeling literacy is required.
  • Strong understanding of architecture principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of California state building codes and standards.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Enthusiasm for collaboration in a studio environment.

  • Develop design solutions in collaboration with clients.
  • Mentor and direct junior staff and manage project documents.

Skills & Qualification
  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in the field of architecture
  • Professional licensure is strongly preferred but not required
  • Revit modeling literacy required
  • Strong understanding of the principles and practices of architecture
  • Comprehensive understanding of and experience with California state building codes and
  • standards, technical detailing, and construction methods
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
