Job summary

Ulteig is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Construction Management with a PE (or non-degree with 20+ years' experience) and strong CDOT experience to lead construction projects across Colorado. This role focuses on developing client relationships, driving business development, and growing our Civil Department.

The ideal candidate will manage scopes, schedules, and costs, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with project controls to ensure successful delivery while maintaining strong client

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a relevant field preferred.
• Professional Engineering licensure preferred.
• PMP Certification preferred.
• 12+ years of experience with a PE license, CDOT, and construction management experience, OR 20+ years of experience without a degree or PE license, CDOT, or construction management experience preferred.
• Demonstrate the ability to independently organize work on multiple projects and meet deadlines by setting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic project management leadership for projects of varying size and complexity.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and participate in proposal development.
• Responsible for the overall management and execution of the projects' scopes, schedules, and costs.
• Manage and lead a collaborative project team to ensure each project's needs are being met.
• Collaborate with Technical Manager(s) regarding mentoring, training, and skill sets.
• Work with project staff and partners to lead meetings between the project team and clients.
• Develop, update, and manage the project execution plans.
• Coordinate communication and provide status updates to stakeholders as required.
