Job summary

SpaceX in Redmond is seeking a Software Engineer for the CDN (Starlink) team to design, build, and scale a new Content Delivery Network that underpins Starlink’s global internet service.

You will develop robust distributed systems, tooling, and monitoring, participate in architecture reviews, and help optimize hardware usage and costs while delivering reliable, high-performance networking outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or other STEM field or 2+ years of software development experience.
• Software development experience in C, C++, or Rust.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale a new Content Delivery Network (CDN) for Starlink.
• Build robust, responsive, and scalable distributed systems.
• Develop tools, visibility, and alerting mechanisms to diagnose, operate, and maintain complex systems.
