Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Software Engineer for Starlink CDN to design, build, and scale a new content delivery network and related distributed systems. You will work on systems that diagnose, operate, and optimize performance in real time while evaluating hardware utilization and cost efficiency.

You will participate in architecture and code reviews, develop prototypes, and drive experiments to prove future concepts for Starlink's global footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or other STEM discipline OR 2+ years of software development experience.
• Experience programming in C, C++, or Rust.
• Professional distributed systems experience and networking know-how.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale a new CDN for Starlink.
• Develop robust, scalable distributed systems and tools.
• Implement diagnostic, monitoring, and alerting for complex systems.
• Optimize hardware utilization and cost via performance metrics.
