Job summary

Comcast seeks a technology leader to manage the NOMAD CDN Automation Development team within the CONNECT-ity organization. You will guide automation for nationwide CDN infrastructure, drive modern SDLC practices, and mentor engineers across time zones to deliver scalable, secure, high-performance services.

The role emphasizes executive communication, architectural oversight, and cross-functional collaboration to advance Comcast’s edge delivery and platforms.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive software engineering experience, including 3+ years as an engineering lead or manager.
• Deep experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD tooling (Concourse CI/CD, Ansible, Git/GitHub).
• Linux administration in large-scale distributed environments; scripting in Python/Go/Bash.
• Understanding of DNS, HTTP/S, TLS, TCP/IP; strong cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop engineers at all levels within a distributed team.
• Ensure predictable, high-quality delivery of CDN automation from concept through launch.
• Set architectural direction and ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for scalability and security.
• Translate complex technical concepts for leadership and business partners.
