Job summary

Systems Technology Group, Inc. (STG) is seeking a Content Delivery Network (CDN) Engineer to design, implement and optimize enterprise CDN platforms across Akamai, Cloudflare, Fastly, and Google Cloud CDN from our Dearborn office.

You will build IaC with Terraform and Ansible, develop self-service tooling in a modern developer portal (Backstage), and run CI/CD pipelines using Tekton and GitHub Actions, ensuring secure, observable delivery of global workloads.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise CDN experience (Akamai, Cloudflare, Fastly or Google Cloud CDN).
• Deep understanding of DNS, GTM, CNAME chaining, HTTP/2/3, TLS/SSL, caching headers, and edge computing.
• CDN Platform Engineer responsible for design, implementation, optimization and reliability of CDN platforms for large-scale apps.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, optimize and operate enterprise CDN platforms.
• Configure landing zones and properties across multiple CDNs.
• Develop IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and self-service tooling for CDN provisioning.
